CODING OUR FUTURE - Robotic excursions for primary and secondary school students

The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) in collaboration with the Robotics Academy at Frederick University is organizing a new seminar series of the CODING OUR FUTURE (COF) program.

The COF coding and robotics seminars are offered FREE of charge, during school time, for primary and gymnasium school students, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth.

The program will be offered with a visit to the premises of the Robotics Academy (18 Mariou Agathangelou Street, 3080) at Frederick University Limassol. Each 3-hour visit (09.00 - 12.00) will allow two classes to participate (minimum number of students: 20, maximum number of students: 50).

Students are divided into 2 groups to attend 2 parallel workshops. The lesson lasts 80 minutes for each group, followed by an exchange. The content and equipment change according to the age of the children as follows:

The program is offered for specific days of the week, from March 15 through the end of the school year.

On the website www.codingourfuture.org you can see a description of each workshop according to the age of the students and which days are available for booking.

Teachers/educators interested in booking a place for their classes should first create an educator account on the website, following the instructions on the website.

Please note that the school only pays the bus fares.
