The dedicated COF training team consists of people who combine their knowledge in the fields of technology, programming and robotics with a passion for teaching children and young people.
Andri Chrysostomou holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Huddersfield. Since 2016, she has been working at the Frederick University Robotics Academy as a robotics instructor. He visits Primary and Secondary Schools all over Cyprus teaching robotics workshops. From 2021, it undertakes the training of Primary and Secondary education teachers through the ERASMUS + program.Also, since 2011 she has been working in a Private English School as an English Language teacher integrating Robotics as a tool for learning the English Language.
Kristia Heimari is a graduate of Frederick University's Department of Elementary Education. From 2022 she joined the teaching team of the Robotics Academy of the University of Frederick as an instructor in robotics laboratory courses at the University but also visiting various schools throughout Cyprus where robotics laboratory courses are organized for Pre-Primary and Elementary students based on the Robotics curriculum.
Marina Pieri holds a Bachelor of Science in Education-Pre-Primary Education from the University of Cyprus. From 2021 she works as an instructor at the Robotics Academy of Frederick University.Her interests include educational technology, the integration of robotics in education, play in preschool education with applications of new technologies, the design, implementation and evaluation of new learning technologies.He has participated in various academic conferences, seminars, educational programs and also in social, cultural and philanthropic events organized by the Robotics Academy of Frederick University.
Theodora Patsalidou is a graduate of the Department of Primary Education at Frederick University, holding an MSc in Dynamic Learning Environments with a specialization in Educational Technology from Frederick University. Since 2015, she has been actively involved in the Robotics Academy of Frederick University as an instructor for preschool and elementary school children, and a member of the development team for the Robotics Academy's Analytical Program.In 2017, she worked as a motivator at the university's summer school, and her skills led her to become the coordinator of the same summer school in the summer of 2018. In 2021, she worked as a STEM EXPERT in the STEM & ROBOTICS department of Engino, being part of the educational development team, collecting and analyzing data, training, and educating trainers on the use of tools and software of the company, and entirely managing and coordinating Robotics workshops.Since December 2022, she has held the position of Instructional Designer at the Center for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching (CIET) at Frederick University. The center aims to provide pedagogical support to educators for the development of educational materials and the training of teachers in the areas of open, distance, and blended learning. She has also attended various workshops and seminars related to education and educational technology and participated in academic conferences on education, educational technology, and robotics.
